Experiencing Costa Rica...One Adventure at a Time!
What fun would it be if I couldn't get the chance to go on every excursion I could possibly get my hands on to? You don't come to Costa Rica just to tour the city...sometimes if you really wanna know what it's like, you gotta get in and do it yourself. Costa Rica is loaded with fun things to do, it'll never be a dull moment.
So far I have:
-Walked the downtown San Jose area by foot with a tour guide
-Attempted to dance Salsa y Merengue
-Went to the National Musuem
-Given a woman wayyyy too much money during my first week (learning "colones")
-Bought a Mediterranean Panini without meat, but didnt know that until I ordered it
-Sat on a park bench, constantly squirming because something kept crawling on me
-Went to a bank that operates like the DMV by serving people with numbers
-Went to a family fiesta with my host family
-Went to the beach in Montezuma and Puerto Viejo
-Went to the Poas and Irazu Volcanoes
-Went to the Cahuita (on the Caribbean side) <--My favorite part of Costa Rica
